Industrial grade round diesel tank inspection hatch/tank access port made of premium 316 marine grade stainless steel featuring innovative double gasket system with galvanic insulation (makes it compatible with any tank material)and leakage worry free as it won’t corrode like aluminium or crack like plastic. Easy installation.
Tank size: Recommended for tanks/baffled compartments up to 120 litres each for manual cleaning (larger for machine cleaning). If there is no access on top of the tank, CDIHS120-0 that has been specifically designed for side installation.
Technical specifications: hatch size – 160 mm (6 5/16″), internal tank access hole size 120 mm (4 3/4″), hatch material – 3 mm (1/8″) premium marine grade stainless steel, gasket material – 3 mm (1/8″) fuel resistant NBR. Approximate height above tank surface 17.5 mm (11/16″).
Tank material compatibility: stainless steel, aluminium, steel, plastic, copper alloy, fibreglass/composite (for composite tanks an adaptor ring is needed – sold separately)
Compliant with MANDATORY ISO Standard 21487: Diesel tanks shall be equipped with inspection hatch(es) having a suitable diameter of at least 120 mm at a suitable position(s) for cleaning and inspection of the lowest part(s) of the tank.
Not recommended for use in petrol tanks and tanks containing highly flammable fluids and gases.
